Imphal, November 15 2008: In a unique style, troops of 20 AR joined Children's Day celebration at Bongyang Lower Primary School yesterday.

A movie was also screened for the children as part of the celebration to inform them about the ideals and principles of late Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, informed a release issued by the PRO of Hqs IG AR (South).

In addition, a free medical camp was also organised which was followed by distribution of note books to poor students.

Later, the students planted saplings of fruit trees.

The Children Day celebration also featured singing, dancing and painting competitions, it added.
