Thoubal, May 15 2024: Aman was shot dead at Lilong Nungei Makha Chongtham today at around 6.30 pm and the killer has been arrested by the police.

According to a report culled from the spot, the deceased has been identified as Sangomsumbam Najir Hussain alias Ibungo (48), a resident of Lilong Nungei Makha while the killer is one Moijingmayum Jabir (35) from the same locality.

It is reported that Najir was shot by a double barrel gun and five/six pellets hit his stomach.

Najir was taken to Noor Hospital and Research Center at Lilong but he succumbed to the injuries.

Jabir, the killer, has been arrested along with the gun used in the crime by Lilong police.

It is reported that Jabir has a mental issue and he fired upon his neighbour's house sometime back.
