International bodies urge for Kangleipal release

Imphal, May 15: In the wake of the re-arrest of MAFYF president Sapamcha Kangleipal under NSA after the Frontline based in Ireland had written a letter to the Supreme Court of India to affect release of Kangleipal, an international campaign aimed at setting Kangleipal free has been spreading, said CORE in a press release quoting a letter sent by the Frontline.

Meanwhile, Paris based International Federation for Human Rights and Switzerland based World Organisation Against Torture have written to different leaders of the Government to affect release of MAFYF president, conveyed the release.
