Skill Development training programme concluded

The three-week long Skill Development Training program, organised by the District Administration Kangpokpi in collaboration with Mustard Seed Foundation (MSF) Kangpokpi concluded at Kanggui Christian College.
The program, which began on June 17 culminated in a graduation ceremony graced by Mahesh Chaudhari (IAS), Deputy Commissioner of Kangpokpi along with officials from the administration.
Speaking at the event, Mahesh Choudhary extended his appreciation to the trainees, staff, and teachers for their active participation and contribution, which led to the program's success.
He lauded their dedication and willingness to acquire new skills, acknowledging their valuable time they invested.
The DC also praised the partnership between the District Administration and MSF, stating that it serves as a great example of a Public Private Partnership (PPP) Model where all three sectors - public, government, and private - work together.
He also noted with satisfaction that many of the electrical installations in the office chambers were completed by the trainees themselves.
Chaudari assured that the administration would continue to support trainees in marketing their products-especially those from the banking and food processing sectors with help from MSF and the District Industry Office.
He further emphasized the importance of acquiring FSSAI certification to enable product sales.
As the Chairman of the District Coordination Committee for bankers, he promised to advocate for assistance to successful training candidates and urged for speedy loan processing for successful candidates through government schemes, facilitated by MSF.
The program provided hands-on training in Electrical Installation & Maintenance, Baking, Food Processing and Mushroom Cultivation, benefiting around 160 participants.
Certificates were also handed out to the trainees by the Deputy Commissioner under the Department of Trade, Commerce and Industries to the trainees.
