Imphal, February 08: Following presentation of a dance number on a Hindi film music by a student of the Blue Ocean, Keishampat at the National Imphal Trade Fair being held at Hatta Kangjeibung yesterday, the proscribed RPF has asked the organisers to close the fair immediately.

Complying with the instruction, the organisers have closed the fair today.

The fair was opened yesterday.

The 11 day trade fair is being jointly organised by the All India Trade Union Congress, Manipur State Committee and North East Trade Fair Association.

However, the organising committee maintained no Hindi music was played at the fair.

The Blue Ocean student presented the dance number on a South Indian music.

As regards the closure of the fair, they said that it was due to the inclement weather.
