According to convenor of the newly formed body K Isreal main objective of the Union is prevail and exert pressure upon authorities concerned for timely and expeditious distribution of SEGP loan as well as to assist in smoothly recovering loans availed in the past.
Urging MSEB authorities to ensure egalitarian treatment of all selected beneficiaries of Ukhrul district, the convenor also pointed out that Ukhrul is one of the few districts wherein implementation of SEGP programmes is appreciable apart from the said district with encouraging rate of loan recovery.
