Indian Army holds security meeting

In line with its ongoing efforts to engage with communities in the State to further enhance security measures, the Indian Army organised a security meeting at Changpikot in Churachandpur district yesterday.
The meeting was attended by village chiefs of ten villages: of Changpikot Area along with the residents.
The meeting provided a platform to the villagers to voice, their concerns.
The meeting began with the Army appreciating the support from the villagers during the difficult times.
The villagers also put forth their issues regarding the village security, agricultural activities in the fringe areas, election of a new Chairman of Village Chiefs and a new Youth Association leader.
Army reassured villagers about security, reiterating the importance of maintaining peace in the area.
Interactions between the Army and local communities are crucial for maintaining peace and harmony in the region and are vital to build strong relationships, enhancing coordination and strengthening cooperation.
