Jiribam, August 03: Personnel of 133 Bn BSF stationed in Tatbung of Tamenglong today rescued a boy who had reportedly run away from home.

The boy identified as K Roshan (13) s/o K Kumar of Kamranga in Jiribam is said to have left home after his father beat him last night.

The father ruled out possibility of the boy leaving home to join UG group or being lured by UG cadres.

The boy has been handed over family members by the BSF men.
