First National Pythian Games in September

The International Pythian Council is set to organise the first National Pythian Games from September 27 to 30 in Chandigarh.
The event was announced by the founder of the Modern Pythian Games, Bijender Goel recently, said the International Pythian Council in a press release.
The games will feature a variety of artistic events, including dance, music, singing, poetry, drama, mimicry, painting, drawing, graphic designing, anthakshari, music, theatre, monologue, clay art, fashion shows and stand-up comedy.
It addition to artistic events, the games will include traditional sports such as Karate, Kung-Fu, Bagatur, Muaythai, Taekwondo, Thang-Ta, Naga Kiti-Do, Indiaca, Tug off War, Yoga, Circle Kabaddi, Naga Wrestling, Rope Skipping, Arm Wrestling, Musical Chair, Mallakhabma and an 11 km Pythian Marathon, it said.
Registration for participation in the games will open from June 5, it said.
