Imphal, September 01: Sending out greetings to the people of Manipur and the Muslim brethren in particular, on the occasion of Ramzan, UCM, NIPCO and Bharatiya Janata Party Minority Morcha, Manipur hoped that observance of the holy month of Ramzan would bring peace and harmony to the State and better understanding and co-operation among the people.

The holy month of Ramzan is beginning from tomorrow.

On the other hand, All Manipur Muslim Girls' Students' Union has appealed to all the Muslims to strictly observe Ramzan in accordance with the laid down norms of Shariat and warned that anybody who act in defiance of the norms should be ready to face with the eventuality.
