Kakching, March 01 2026: The grand inauguration ceremony of Excellent Academy located at Kakching Turel Wangma, Uyok Ching was held today in the presence of Kakching Assembly Constituency MLA Mayanglambam Rameshwar.

The newly constructed school is affiliated with the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM) and will begin its first academic session this year offering admission for Class XI and XII .

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, MLA M Rameshwar said the main point of education is making sure that the public at large receive the benefit of the education you have received since childhood.

In this day and age, possessing a wealth of knowledge is of immense value.

Equipped with wisdom and knowledge, one can achieve success in different fields.

He further expressed confidence that the newly inaugurated Excellent Academy will strive to produce many talented students and become a notable school in the region.

The MLA also conveyed hope that the school teachers will help produce exemplary students who will take society forward in the path of progress.

Other dignitaries present at the event include Khumukcham Sundari, Principal, Excellent Academy; Mayanglambam Sanaton, retd Principal of Kha Manipur College, Kakching and Professor Mayanglambam Kunjaraj, retd Head of Department, Extension Education, Central Agriculture University, Imphal and Dangmei Manglem (MCS) Additional Director (Hills) Directorate of Education (S) as the presidium members.
