ZWAD, ZSUD observe Martyrdom of Jadonang

Imphal, August 29 2024: The Zeliangrong Welfare Association, Delhi (ZWAD) and Zeliangrong Students' Union Delhi (ZSUD) jointly observed the 93rd Martyrdom of Haipou Jadonang through Zoom today.

As per a press release jointly issued by Sinchuilung Gangmei, secretary ZWAD and I Smilingbo Pamai, vice-president, ZWAD, the programme was hosted by Gaijangsinlu Thaimei, Women Coordinator, ZSUD.

The programme kicked off with a welcome address from I Smilingbo Pamai followed by lighting of candles and floral tribute by the organisers and a minute of silence in honour of Haipou Jadonang.

A short devotional song "Jug Neimei Luh" composed by Haipou Jadonang during his spiritual preaching and works was presented by Sinchuilung Gangmei.

Gainilung Panmei, ALS Additional Legislative Counsel, Ministry of Law and Justice also presented a speech on the occasion.

The session concluded with the words of gratitude from Liangkiudinbou Marenmai, former president, ZSUD .
