Imphal, September 27 2026: The Gospel and Cultural Sunday of the Mao-Poumai Baptist Church, Langol, Imphal was held today, bringing together members of the congregation to "celebrate the richness, beauty and diversity of cultures as gifts and heritage entrusted to humanity by God" .

The celebration was held under the theme "Celebrating our beautiful cultures, a heritage from the Lord." Rev L Simon Raomai, Pastor of the Church led the celebration.

The occasion highlighted the importance of appreciating and preserving cultural identity while recognising the unity and fellowship that binds people together in Christ, said the Church in a statement.

The programme featured a vibrant presentation of traditional music, songs, dances and cultural expressions.
