Imphal, September 26 2009: The Apunba Lup has warned all concerned not to stand against its movement being carried on against the 'state-sponsored terrorism,' and emphasised that the Lup will not be held responsible for any consequence resulting from any act of opposition to its movement.

In a strongly-worded statement of warning, the Working Committee of the Apunba Lup asserted that the agitation against 'state-terrorism' spearheaded by it is not a movement of a few people but a movement of the entire people.

It noted that some people were standing against the movement.

The WCAL further stated that the movement against state sponsored terrorism has been launched with the cooperation of the people in order to prevent the extinction of the communities after knowing that existence of the people is under serious threat.

It stated that those who are against the movement � be they MLAs or their loyalists � are against the people.

Pledging to continue its stirs against July 23 Khwairamband incident until the demands are achieved, the statement cautioned the agitators to remain alert over the policy and plan to curb the agitations by Ibobi through his agents and stooges.

Forewarning all concerned not to stand against the movement, the Apunba Lup stated that it will not be held responsible for any outcome for standing against the Apunba Lup.

The Lup statement observed that the indifferent attitude of the Central leaders to the protest of the people of the state is a clear indication that people of Manipur are not categorised as citizens of India.

It alleged that the state terrorism in Manipur has been committed at the instigation of Central leaderships especially the Congress.

Stating that the Central leaderships should not hesitate in sharing a thought on the headship of state-terrorism instigator O Ibobi if they have real concern for the people of the state, the statement pointed out that the response of the Central Congress leaders on the matter is still awaited.
