Imphal, May 26 2025:
Patsoi MLA Sapam Kunjakeswor (Keba) called upon the politicians to always accord importance to pulse of the people and act accordingly.
Speaking at the diamond jubilee celebration of Ghari Youth Club on Monday, MLA Kunjakeswor stressed that the politicians should align their work as per the sentiment of the people.
He, however, cautioned politicians not to get involved themselves in petty local issues and avoid politicising local clubs and organisations, while stressing the need for keeping such platforms free from politics.
While assuring that he would heed advice of local elders and work in coordination with the people, the MLA observed that politics has evolved in sync with the advancement in information technology and the present era dominated by mobile phone and social media.
He also stressed the need for fostering unity among the people starting from local clubs and organisations, maintaining that the ongoing conflict will end once there is unity among the people.
He then appealed to the people of Ghari to unite among themselves first and set an example of unity.
The event was also attended by All Manipur Working Journalists' Union president Asem Bhakta and GYC president Phamdom Prama Mangangcha.
