Imphal, February 26 2025: A significant reshuffle has taken place within the administrative and police set up with at least nine senior police officers and five IAS and IFS officers transferred to new roles.

According to a notification issued by Chief Secretary PK Singh, Senapati Superintendent of Police (SP) Shivanand Surve will be taking charge as the new SP of Thoubal district while the SP of Kakching Th Vikramjit Singh has been transferred as Commandant of 10th IRB.

Senior SO to DGP Sheikh Mohd Zaib, on the other hand, will assume the charge of SP Jiribam.

SDPO of Lamlai of Dharmendra Kumar will take over as SP of Senapati district (on promotion) .

SP (Immigration) Priyadarshini Laishram has been transferred as SP of Kakching while SP Thoubal in-charge S Ibomcha has been posted as Commanding Officer (CO) of 6th IRB with additional charge of the Commando Unit SP .

CO of 6th IRB K Dilip Singh has been posted as the Senior SO to DGP while CO of 10th IRB has been appointed as SP (Immigration) .

Jiribam SP (in-charge) Khamnam Robinsun has been appointed as In-charge AD of MPTC.

In a separate notification, five IAS and IFS officials have also been given new places of postings.

Of them, Anurag Bajpai, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests who is the Additional Chief Secretary (Textiles, Commerce and Industries), has been given additional charge of Tribal Affairs and Hills.

Naorem Praveen, Director of Manipur Renewable Energy Development Agency, has been given additional charge of Secretary Education � Schools .
