Imphal, September 25 2026: Chief Minister Yumnam Khem-chand Singh has strongly condemned the killing of four Tangkhul civilians at Pilong village in Kamjong district yesterday.

In a post on X, the Chief Minister's Office wrote, "Hon'ble Chief Minister of Manipur Shri Yumnam Khemchand Singh has strongly condemned the killing of four Tangkhul civilians of Pilong village in Kamjong district.

Such acts of violence have no place in our society and will not be tolerated.

He conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved families and prayed to the Almighty to grant them strength and comfort in this hour of immense grief" .

Notably, the four civilians including a father and son were killed by suspected KNA-B cadres, a Maynmar based insurgent group.
