The program witnessed enthusiastic and overwhelming participation from villagers, village authorities, government officials, and community leaders.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness about various welfare schemes under the DAJGUA initiative and to ensure saturation of benefits to all eligible beneficiaries.

The event was formally inaugurated by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Henglep, who emphasized the values of transparency, inclusivity, and participatory governance in the delivery of public services.

Key components of the campaign included - awareness sessions on flagship government schemes relating to health, education, sanitation, and livelihood; on-the-spot registration and verification of eligible beneficiaries under targeted schemes; grievance redressal desk to promptly address public concerns and service-related issues.

Special focus was given to Aadhaar enrolment and seeding, ration card applications, and the issuance of essential certificates, enabling access to a range of entitlements.

The campaign is set to continue till tomorrow, covering more villages under the sub-division to ensure no eligible citizen is left behind.

Meanwhile, in continuation of the "Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJGUA)" campaign in Tengnoupal district, the district administration today extended its outreach efforts to Langol and Khunbi villages within Machi Sub-Division of Tengnoupal district.

The campaign witnessed participation of about 450 locals from the two villages.

As part of the program, line departments offering a wide range of services under one roof including PMJAY cards, Fisheries cards, certificates and Saplings from the Forest department were distributed to villagers.

Moreover, services of registration and enrolment of several Government schemes under various departments were also provided during the camp.

With the commencement of DAJGUA from June 16, Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camps have been successfully organized by the District Administration in seven identified villages across Tengnoupal district and the remaining four villages will be covered by the end of June.
