Imphal, November 23 2024: The 1st Foundation Day of ISCOM Media Private Limited was celebrated today at its office in Keishampat Leimajam Leikai.

It was attended by Dr Th Charanjeet Singh, Director, Information & Public Relations (IPR); Konthoujam Dinamani, chairman, ISCOM Media Pvt Ltd; Bijoy Kakchingtabam, president, AMWJU and Khogendra Khomdram, president, EGM as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Th Charanjeet highlighted the role of media in the society and added that media serves as a catalyst for change, providing information, shaping opinions, and raising awareness on critical issues.

He asserted that the media can promote democracy by providing citizens with relevant, fair, and genuine information.

He appealed to the media fraternity to provide their support in raising awareness about the various policy programmes initiated by the Government for the welfare of the people.
