Imphal, April 18 2025: A 10-day Meetei Mayek coaching camp kicked off at Puthiba Debata Mandap, Tripura on Thursday.

The Meitei Mayek coaching camp is jointly organised by Directorate of Language Planning and Implementation, Govt of Manipur and Meetei Erol Eyek Loinasilloi Apunba Lup (MEELAL) in collaboration with Puthiba Welfare & Cultural Society, Tripura.

The inaugural of the coaching camp was attended by MEELAL president Khaidem Ingocha, UKAL general secretary, Mutum Maniton Mangang, Manipur Literary and Cultural Forum Tripura secretary, Ksh Mangal, Puthiba Welfare and Cultural Society Tripura, secretary Sinam Dipak, Manipur Sahitya Parishad Tripura, assistant general secretary, Konsam Atul Singha and Puthiba Welfare & CS advisor, N Niranjan Dutta as presidium members along with Sadokpam Tomba Mangang, working president of MEELAL as resource person.

The coaching class will be taught by Waikhom Gopen Meetei and Sinam Kundicha.

Stating that MEELAL has started educating Meitei Mayek widely to Meitei residents of Tripura, MEELAL called for people's support in MEELAL's campaign of imparting Meitei Mayek knowledge to the people of the State and Meiteis scattered across the country and globe.
