AMRPSWA appeals for resumption of work at BOSEM office

The All Manipur Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) has urged the State Government to resolve the grievances of BOSEM employees who are currently on a pen-down strike and ensure that they resume work swiftly.
A press release issued by P Romen Singh, secretary, AMRPSWA has also urged the protesting BOSEM staff to make some concessions in the interest of over 40,000 students who are set to appear for the HSLC exam 2025.Owing to the pen-down strike launched recently, all operations of the office have been paralyzed, said the AMRPSWA statement.
In comparison, BOSEM has notified that the HSLC Examination 2025 will begin from February 19, 2025 .
The form fill-up period for the same exam was also decided earlier.
In the backdrop of all these developments, the fate of the students remains uncertain as the Board has stopped functioning due to the strike.
Stating that it is the duty of State leaders to reconcile opposing sides, AMRPSWA has urged the Government to be transparent and sincere in all matters concerning BOSEM It has urged the administration to address the issue and ensure that BOSEM employees resume their normal work at the office.
