Monetary help given to ailing patients

Bishnupur, June 17 2024:
Thanga High School 1989 Matric Batch donated a sum of Rs 30,000 to Haobijam Ongbi Bino Devi, a batch member, who is undergoing cancer treatment at RIMS Hospital.
According to a statement, Haobijam Ongbi Bino Devi resides at Thinungei and has been blessed with a son and a daughter.
Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with cancer.
The monetary aid was extended to relieve some burden from the suffering family in such difficult times.
Bino is currently staying at Apna Ghar, Keishamthong Irom Pukhri Mapal, a home for cancer patients.
The cancer home has not only given her free food and lodging but they have also provided free transportation for her radiation therapy at RIMS Hospital.
Thanga High School 1989 Matric Batch has extended gratitude to the Apna Ghar team for their commendable efforts.
Separately, members of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Bishnupur District Branch have extended monetary assistance to Thokchom Netaji Meitei who has been undergoing treatment due to a medical condition.
According to a statement, Thokchom Netaji Meitei is the treasurer of IRCS Bishnupur District Branch.
An IRCS Bishnupur District Branch team comprising Dr H Romen, secretary; H Ronibala Chanu, publicity and public relations; W Tollangou, executive member and H Geetarani Chanu handed over the financial aid to the ailing treasurer.
