Poumai Naga Union withdraws dissociation with other apex bodies

Senapati, December 16 2024: The Poumai Naga Union has lifted its earlier social/political boycott to six Poumai Naga individuals and also withdraw its decision to dissociate from other Naga apex bodies including the United Naga Council (UNC), All Naga Students Association, Manipur (ANSAM), Naga Women's Union (NWU) and Naga Peoples' Movement for Human Rights (NPMHR) .

This decision comes after careful deliberation and- in alignment with the "Letter of Commitment" signed on 26/11/2024 between NSCN/ GPRN and the official delegation of Poumai Naga Union, these decisions have been taken on this day December 13, 2024 .

The decision reflects a commitment to fostering mutual respect, reconciliation and the peaceful coexistence of all parties involved.

The agreement that was signed on 26th November, 2024 serves as a testament to the shared vision of resolving conflicts through dialogue, mutual understanding, and trust.

These actions by PNU demonstrate a sincere effort to honor the commitments made and work towards a harmonious relationship among all stakeholders.

PNU continued that it will remain committed to upholding the principles of justice, unity and peace and also request all concerned to take note of the developments and provide any necessary guidance or support to insure the successful implementation of the aforementioned resolution.
