Imphal, May 15:
Reiterating its demand to keep on recruitment of posts, both teaching and non-teaching until an amicable solution is reached with respect to the reservation policy, the MUTSU reaffirmed to stand by its earlier decision to leave Manipur University enmasse, conveyed a release.
Observing the reported lukewarm attitude of MUSU towards the problems of the tribal students, MUTSU has resolved to boycott the activities of MUSU including the upcoming students' election, it informed.
The tribal students strongly feel that the conversion of the erstwhile State university to central University has further aggravated deprivation of tribal students, added the release.
