2-day District-Level Vendor Development Programme concludes in Churachandpur

Churachandpur, December 14 2025:
A two-day District-Level Vendor Development Programme (VDP) cum Product Exhibition under the Rising Accelerating of MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme for Churachandpur district concluded successfully on Saturday at Synod Conference Hall, IB Road, Churachandpur.
The program was organised under the aegis of District Industries Centre (DIC), Churachandpur.
The initiative aimed at enhancing vendor's capabilities, compliance awareness, and strengthening the overall performance of MSMEs During the programme, Dr R Sanga Proprietor of Thangching Herbals Enterprises; T Hauzel, Assistant Director MSME, DFO Imphal; PC Lalnunpuia LDM Churachandpur & Pherzawl and John Hauzel, General Manager, DIC Churachandpur & Pherzawl, spoke on facilitating market access for MSMEs .
The speakers highlighted ways to link local enterprises with PSUs, buyers and procurement agencies, besides stressing the importance of quality compliance, digital onboarding, promotion of ODOP and encouragement of local products.
During the programme, Lheineiting Touthang served as resource person, while Seikhongam Touthang, Consultant, and Lalhmangaizuali, Accountant, DIC, acted as mobilizers of the event.
Altogether, 17 entrepreneurs from various sectors showcased their products at exhibition stalls, including food processing, handloom, handicrafts, dry floristry and VDVK products.
The programme witnessed participation of over 60 individuals, including local entrepreneurs displaying a wide range of products such as handloom items, pickles, handicraft jewellery and traditional ornaments.
Later, certificates were handed over to the local entrepreneur by the officials.
