Registration opened for pre-matric and post-matric scholarships

Imphal, September 14 2021: The Directorate for Welfare of OBCs and SCs has informed all concerned that online registration for Pre Matric and Post Matric Scholarship Schemes for students belonging to OBC, SC and EBC community for the 2021-2022 have been opened on National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in).

A notification issued by the Directorate in this regard mentioned that online registration for availing Centrally sponsored Pre Matric and Post Matric Scholarship for OBC students; Centrally sponsored Pre Matric and Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students and Dr Ambedkar Centrally sponsored Post Matric Scholarship for EBC students may be done till October 15.The portal will be opened till November 15 for defective verification and the same date will be the last date for online verification at 'Institute Level', the notification read.

It further notified that only online applications under the Schemes will be accepted and no request for offline applications will be entertained.

Website for filling up of online scholarship application is www.scholarships.gov.in and a link to this site is also available at the website of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (socialjustice.nic.in) and in the official website of the Directorate for Welfare of OBCs and SCs (www.manipurobcsc.gov.in), it informed.

Alternatively, applications may be submitted through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) App by downloading the same from Google Play Store, it added.
