Hajj greetings

Imphal, May 13 2024:
Former Chief Minister and Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Okram Ibobi extended his wishes to Hajj pilgrims before their departure at Bir Tikendrajit International Airport today.
Meeting them at the airport, the senior Congress leader wished them a fruitful and safe trip and prayed for their safe return home.
Okram Ibobi also urged the Hajj pilgrims to offer prayers in the sacred city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia for peace and normalcy to return to Manipur.
It may be noted that 217 pilgrims left Manipur for Kolkata on their way to Saudi Arabia for the annual pilgrimage today.
Meanwhile, 185 pilgrims reached Kolkata yesterday.
Okram Ibobi was accompanied by Th Lokeshwar, MLA Khundrakpam AC and MPCC general secretaries Md Amir Hussain, Md Wahidur Rahman and Md Siraj Ahmad and MPCC spokesperson Md Rabi Khan.
