Recipients of SAYOL State Excellence Award 2025 announced

Imphal, April 11 2025: The SAYOL Foundation has announced the recipients of the SAYOL State Excellence Award 2025 established to recognize and celebrate individuals who have demonstrated exceptional achievements and contributions in their respective fields.

As per a press release, this year the awards will honour Yumkhaibam Ibomcha Meetei, founder of Laining Solution, from Top Khongnangkhong, Imphal East for his "Excellence in Entrepreneurship", credited for promoting indigenous products and creating employment opportunities for the youth, thereby boosting local innovation and economic growth.

Additionally, the award for "Humanitarian Service" will be bestowed upon Eshing Maiba alias Asatullah Tampakmayum, from Urup Awang Leikai for his remarkable humanitarian efforts in recovering the mortal remains of 470 deceased individuals who had drowned.

His contributions reflect exceptional dedication and service to humanity and his selflessness and compassion serve as an enduring source of inspiration for others, said SAYOL Foundation.

Recipients of the prestigious award will be honoured with a memento, certificate, shawl (lengyan) and a cash award.

The Awards will be handed out during SAYOL Foundation's 8th Foundation Day celebration set to take place on April 27 at the Senate Hall of the Earth Science Department, Manipur University.

Moreover, the SAYOL Foundation will also organize its 20th Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at JNIMS on April 21 .
