Demanding the NDA Govt at the Centre to pay monetary compensation to the victims of the Meitei-Meitei Pangal riot of 1993, the Pangal (Manipuri Muslim) Political Forum, Manipur (PPFM) has urged the State Govt to make necessary recommendation to the Centre towards this end.
Addressing a press meet at Manipur Press Club, spokesperson of PPFM, MI Khan said that 140 lives were lost in the Meitei and Meitei-Pangal communal riot on May 3, 1993 .
