Imphal, October 07: The identities of the two youths shot dead by a combined force of Imphal East police commandos and troops of 32 AR at Eco-Tourism park near Yaralpat about 6 kms East of Porompat police station at about 4 pm yesterday have been established.

They are identified as Md Iqbal (30) s/o Khalishur Rehman of Lilong Haoreibi Yangbi and Md Kabir (35) s/o Md Azizur of Lilong Leihaokhong.

Both the corpses have been handed over to respective family members after post mortem at RIMS today.

Meanwhile, the identity of the man shot dead by security escorts of MLA Ng Bijoy near AK Book Store, RIMS road last evening has been established as one Ningthoujam Sadananda alias Sananda alias Dara (29) s/o Babudhon of Thanga Salam Leikai.

It is reported that Sadananda was a Sergeant Major of PREPAK.On completion of post mortem, the corpse has been handed over to family members today.
