Will focus on "saving Manipur": Shiv Sena

The Shiv Sena State Unit will pause all activities related to politics for sometime and "focus on efforts to save Manipur", said its president M Tombi today.
At the party's office at Babupara, M Tombi said the party has taken a resolution to shun all political works for sometime and instead focus on movements to save Manipur.
While appreciating the Assembly for unanimously resolving to form a House Committee on the issue of illegal immigration into Manipur, Tombi said, he further wants all the Members to unanimously resolve to protect and safeguard Manipur's integrity.
He said the BJP in the State and the Centre should take action against Kuki narco-terrorists.
The Government must stop taking sides of the Kuki narco-terrorists, he said.
He lauded the village volunteers for being in forefront guarding villages and lives of the people.
Concerned with the turmoil in Bangladesh, he stressed the need for the State Government to secure the State's border area to prevent influx of immigrants.
M Tombi appreciated youths who have newly joined the party.
