Kohima, December 06:
The Khaplang faction of National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang faction (NSCN-K) today expressed that Nagas no more yearn for bloodshed amongst the Naga brothers but peace, unity and reconciliation.
A press release issued by K.Zhimomi (Kughavi), Secretary, Education, NGOs and Public Relation of NSCN-K, today said that whether Sumi (Sema) or any other tribe or community, which is fighting for the unification is for the betterment of the Nagas as a whole and not for the particular tribe or community.
"I have been running around for the last two years for 'no more bloodshed' within and among the Nagas and met the leaders of various organizations and tribal Hohos," he said adding that "everyone with tears in their eyes advised and sought for no more bloodshed and it is best known to those whom I've met in different places".
Stating that unabated factional killings have come down drastically to hardly 25% after the unification move initiated by the Western Sumi Hoho, he said it is for all to see that there has been no act of animosity or factional clash and there is no killing for the last about 20 days after the unification initiated by the Sumi Hoho.
"This also proved that there is already unity and understanding among the national workers.
Only the civilians are confused and they need to be unified
among them.
If the Nagas don't need such peace and unity, then what more else does the Nagas need?" he added.
Expressing that where there is relationship, there is unification, he therefore said, "whatever criticism, take it easy with seriousness and positively for the cause of no more bloodshed, because, we have started and committed for no more bloodshed and there is no turning back".
