DBC Maram, SEMCO to host Youth Parliament

Senapati/Chandel, March 06 2025: Don Bosco College (Autonomous), Maram in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, is set to organize the District-Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 .

The event aligns with the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047 aiming to empower youth to actively participate in shaping India's future.

Inspired by the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the program is being implemented through the MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) portal.

Youth aged 18-25 years (as of February 24, 2025) can participate by submitting a one-minute video on "What Viksit Bharat Means to You" via the My Bharat Portal from February 27 to March 9, 2025 .

The selection process will involve academicians, journalists, and public representatives to ensure fairness and excellence.

Meanwhile, South East Manipur College, Komlathabi has also invited the youths in the age group of 18-25 years residing in Chandel and Tengnoupal district to participate in the upcoming District Level Competition of Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament to be held at South East Manipur College, Komlathabi.

For participation, the youths need to register themselves on My Bharat Portal and upload a one-minute video on "What does Viksit Bharat Mean to You"? .

The registration will be open till March 9, 2025 and those shortlisted participants will be called for District Level Youth Parliament to be held at South East Manipur College, Komlathabi on March 13, 2025 at SEMCO Seminar Hall.
