Imphal, August 04 2025: The proscribed PREPAK has clarified that Lisham Sanayaima alias Thangjinganba alias Thoujal of Uyumpok Maning Leikai, Imphal East is a deserter who fled from the party's camp on February 21, 2016 .

L Thangjinganba was reportedly arrested by police from his home on August 1, 2025 .

A press release issued by the outfit's Publicity Officer, Department of Publicity and Propaganda Mangai Khuman said that the outfit had snapped all ties with L Thangjinganba since the day he fled from the party.

The recovery of five numbers of letterhead belonging to another party from the possession of L Thangjinganba is a clear indication that he is no longer connected to PREPAK .

As such, the claim of Manipur Police that L Thangjinganba is a self styled Lieutenant of PREPAK (Red Army) is baseless, it contended.

Saying that PREPAK has identified all the people involved collecting money from the public in the name of the party as well as those maligning the name of the party by handling private cases, the outfit has asked all those people to surrender to the party at the earliest.

It further appealed to all the people to inform the party promptly if any one is seeking financial help without the party's letterhead.

It also sought the people's help and support in eliminating all these anti-social elements masquerading as revolutionaries.
