Imphal, August 03: Kasom Khullen Sub-Division Development Association in a joint sitting with the head men and secretaries of the sub-division decided not to withdraw any wage for NREGS until their demands are met.

The association in a press release said that headmen and secretaries of the sub-division came to Imphal to withdraw wages for 10 days but the concerned officials were processing paper works to release money only for five days.

The meeting decided not to allow any village of the sub-division to with draw the wages of five days.

It also resolved not to sign in blank cheques by village headmen and secretaries.
