ANSAM appeals for disturbance-free NEET 2026 experience for aspirants

Extending its best wishes to the medical aspirants who will be appearing for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test, NEET (UG) on May 3, the All Naga Students' Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has made an appeal to ensure that no disturbance is caused to the candidates.
The eligibility test is set to be held from 2 pm to 5 pm on May 3 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for merit based selection and admission to various undergraduate medical courses in Government, semi-Government and private medical institutions in accordance with the Government selection criteria and norms.
In an appeal, ANSAM stated that the NTA has allocated examination centres for NEET (UG), 2026 in different States including the district headquarters in the hill districts of Manipur.
Thus, it has appealed to all the Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Churches, parents and the general public to ensure that no disturbance or inconvenience is caused to candidates who will be heading to their respective examination centres during this defining time of their preparation for the aforesaid medical examination to set for tomorrow.
This highly important entrance test calls for utmost cooperation and sincere support from every community in the State to maintain peace and extend encouragement so that the aspirants will face their examination with confidence free from any kind of social disturbances in the midst of all the unwanted happenings and prevailing situation in the State, said ANSAM.
It has further urged all law-enforcing agencies, institutions allocated as exam centres, and concerned authorities to perform their duties responsibly by ensuring smooth transport, secure passage, and no unnecessary checking, delay, or harassment to the candidates and their parents/guardians on their way to examination centres.
