Imphal, May 02: The proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) has asked three individuals to surrender to the outfit even as the armed group conveyed of Maphou Dam Village's vice chairman of being in its custody.

In a statement issued by the propaganda, communication and technical officer of the KCP (Military Council) Tamnganba, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bishnupur Tara Devi has been accused of conniving with the 7 Assam Rifles authorities in the recent elimination of its cadre Md Zimi alias Keny of Lilong Ushoipokpi.

Asking Tara Devi to give up in five day's time, Tamnganba recounted that Md Zimi was deputed to discuss certain matters with the CJM, who instead schemed to have Zimi arrested and later slain by the AR personnel.

Sternly warning that there would be no leniency if Tara devi defies the KCP summon inspite of the CJM being a lady, Tamnganba also highlighted that killing of its cadre by the para-military force clearly illustrates that allegations of the KCP working hand in glove with the AR is unfounded and fictitious.

Accusing Loukham Sova Singh of Kyamgei Mayai Leikai and Kangujam Rajen Singh of Kakwa Soraijam Leirak for their alleged derogatory remarks against the KCP organisation, Tamnganba asked the duo to surrender within May 6 to avoid more punitive action.

Regarding captive of Maphou Dam Village vice chairman in its custody, the KCP (MC) informed that the individual was pulled up under the Sangai Operation to settle certain misunderstandings and the process of rectifying misconduct on the part of the individual had begun under the command of Lanhaba.

Sangai Operation was launched to cleanse the society of corrupt elements as presence of these individuals and corrupt practices had been eroding the Manipuri society to an abysmal level.

For a start KCP targeted Social Welfare Department and RIMS under the Sangai Operation following inputs of authorities of both institutes indulging in corruption in the establishment of anganwadi centres and appointment of anganwadi workers, and corruption in service regularisation exercise of contract basis employees, Tamngamba added.
