Humanitarian aid extended

In the wake of the recent violence in different areas under Lamlai AC, the Eastern Popular Club, Khurai Thoidingjam Leikai and Co-ordinating Body Khurai have extended humanitarian assistance to the volunteers who are camping in Thamnapokpi to protect the villagers from the attacks of Kuki narco-terrorist.
Relief items were also provided to the people of Thamnapokpi, Santikhongbal and Sabungkhok Khunou who were forced to flee their homes due to the attacks of Kuki narco-terrorists and take shelter at Yaingangpokpi.
Eastern Popular Club and Co-ordinating Body Khurai also distributed 12.5 Kg of rice tp 12 households of Sanjenlok-Sinam Khul under Khundrakpam AC .
Notably, more than 10 families have fled Sanjenlok-Sinam Khul due to the relentless attacks of Kuki narco-terrorists.
Members of Eastern Popular Club lamented that since the conflict began on May 3, 2023, Kuki narcoterrorists have been .attacking civilians and burning houses in villages on the outskirts of the valley.
Extending solidarity to Leimapokpam Kabichandra (Kabi), a video journalist of Impact TV, who was injured at Sanasabi village, the Club members urged the authorities concerned to take immediate actions to protect civilians from the aggression of Kuki narco-terrorists.
Members of Eastern Popular Club also urged the Government to take necessary steps to end the conflict and restore peace & normalcy in Manipur at the earliest.
