Senapati, August 25 2025: As invited by Ministry of Home Affairs, Naga civil society organisation leaders consisting the United Naga Council (UNC), All Naga Students Association, Manipur (ANSAM) and Naga Women's Union (NWU) left Imphal airport at 10.30 am and landed in New Delhi in the evening today.

The 11 team delegation of the Naga CSO leaders include UNC president Ng Lorho, general secretary Vareiyo Shatsang, speaker Wango Kohring Victor, UNC working committee convenor Samson Remei, member secretary AC Thotso, members KS Paul Leo, L Adani, ANSAM president Th Angteshang Maring, general secretary Isaac Charenamei, NWU president Ch Priscilla Thiumai and general secretary A Hoibila Maram.

Sources from the team stated that they shall stick to what they had given in their earlier statement in defence of the people's rights.

The Naga CSOs have been opposing the scrapping of the Free Movement Regime (FMR) and the construction of border fencing in Naga inhabited areas.

The talk is scheduled to take place in New Delhi starting from 11 am on Tuesday, August 26 .

Venue for the talk is yet to be confirmed according to a source received from the delegation.
