DAJGUA campaign reaches more villages in Tengnoupal, Churachandpur

As part of the nationwide flagship campaign "Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan (DAJGUA)", a one-day awareness and benefit saturation camp was organised on Monday at Khulsaibung & Lamlong Khullen village, Machi Sub- Division, Tengnoupal District.
The campaign, under the initiatives of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, aimed to saturate individual entitlements and create awareness among Scheduled Tribe (ST) populations across the country's tribal-dominated regions.
The program was graced by Md Nazmul Huda Khan, Sub-Divisional Officer/BDO Machi, Chairman/Chief of village Authority along with representatives from the several line departments of Tengnoupal district.
The program was attended by about 300 from adjoining villages and 250 from the two local villages.
As part of the program line departments open spot stalls and give services to the villagers and certificate and beneficiary cards from different schemes of departments were distributed to villagers.
The camp also facilitated on the spot delivery of multiple entitlements and services including ration cards and entitlement verification, Health Insurance (PM-JAY) card issuance and basic check-ups, Caste, Domiciles, Farmer registration under PM KISAN, along with Kisan Credit card, Bank account opening, enrolment under social security pensions (Old Age, Widow, Divyang), and financial literacy assistance.
The District Administration expressed its appreciation for the active involvement and support of all participating departments and stakeholders.
The community was urged to make the most of the services and entitlements being provided through such outreach initiatives.
In Churachandpur district, the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) campaign marked a significant milestone today as the District Administration extended its outreach efforts to remote villages under Samulamlan Block with a program at Sadbhavna Mandap, Samulamlan under the supervision of Mangte Jonathan Kom, SDO/Samulamlan.
The event featured about 20 stalls set up by various government departments, offering a wide range of services under one roof.
Beneficiaries availed themselves of facilities including Aadhaar enrolment and updates, ration card assistance, and registration under Ayushman Bharat (PMJAY).
Key documents, such as tribe and domicile certificates, were issued, alongside enrolment for Farmer Cards and the PM Kisan scheme.
Beneficiaries also accessed social security measures, including old age and widow pensions, as well as livelihood programs such as MGNREGA, PM Vishwakarma, and Mudra Loans, along with support services under Women and Child Welfare initiatives, including PMMVY and ICDS.
The campaign also featured a free general health check-up, where basic investigations and essential medication were provided at no cost.
An Information, Education and Communication (IEC) drive was conducted simultaneously to raise public awareness about the range of welfare schemes available under DAJGUA .
