Assam Rifles extends warm Ningol Chakkouba greetings to the people of Manipur

Imphal, October 22 2025: On the joyous occasion of Ningol Chakkouba, Major General Ravroop Singh, Inspector General of Assam Rifles (South), and all ranks of Assam Rifles conveyed warm greetings to the people of Manipur.

In a message issued by the IGAR (South), the Assam Rifles highlighted the festival's deep cultural and emotional significance, celebrating the sacred bond between brothers and sisters, and the enduring strength of family and tradition.

Describing Ningol Chakkouba as a festival that reflects the rich cultural heritage of Manipur and the values of love, respect, and togetherness, the Assam Rifles expresses hope that the festivity would foster a spirit of unity and harmony, nurturing peace and goodwill across communities.

"As families gather in joy and affection, let us also renew our pledge to uphold social cohesion, integrity, and the spirit of peaceful coexistence", the message read.

Extending heartfelt wishes to all, the Assam Rifles concluded "May this Ningol Chakkouba bring happiness, strengthen relationships, and inspire collective progress" .
