Homeland Security Summit 2025 concludes

Homeland Security, a unit of Homeland Group successfully hosted the Homeland Security Summit 2025 at Classic Grande, Imphal on October 17 .
As per a release issued by Homeland Group, the 1-day summit brought together key stakeholders from Government, industry, defence and academia to deliberate on the theme "Integrated Security for a Changing World" .
The summit marked the beginning of an annual knowledge and leadership series aimed at nurturing dialogue between public and private security ecosystems to strengthen preparedness, collaboration and innovation in the security domain.
The event commenced with the screening of a thematic video underscoring the evolving meaning of security - extending beyond physical safety to include cyber resilience and community preparedness.
A major highlight was the launch of the "Homeland Guide", a pocket-sized safety and information guide for citizens and visitors to Manipur.
It lists emergency contact details of hospitals, police stations and tourist sites- promoting safety awareness and accessibility in public spaces.
In his opening remarks, Rajkumar Babloo Singh, Director, Homeland Group emphasised that the Summit represents "a convergence of thought, technology and collaboration".
He reiterated Homeland's mission to build partnerships for a safer tomorrow, calling security a shared responsibility across government, industry and community.
In the keynote address, Kunwar Vikram Singh, chairman.
Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI), outlined the evolution of India's private security industry, highlighting CAPSI's contributions to the Private Security Agencies Regulation Act (PSARA) and skill development initiatives under the Security Sector Skill Development Council (SSSDC) .
The chief guest, Arun Kumar Sinha, Principal Secretary, Government of Manipur commended Homeland Group for convening a timely and relevant summit.
He also reaffirmed the Government's commitment to building a secure and resilient Manipur through partnership and policy innovation.
The Summit also featured four thematic panel discussions chaired by L Niranjan Singh, Director & CEO, JORE Group; Prof Chinglen Maisnam, Department of Economics, Manipur University; Major Paul Devassy, CEO, IRIS Knowledge; and Dr Rajkumar Nimai Singh, retired IAS officer.
Salam Sachhidananda Singh, GM, Classic Group of Hotels; Hervirender Pal Singh, Head, Global Security Operations, India & Middle East, Walt Disney Company; Brigadier Vikrant Kulkarni, Group Commander, NCC Imphal; Amit Mehta, Area Director & GM, Marriott International; Mayanglambam Rajkumar Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West; Anil Haorokcham, Secretary, Manipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI); Lairenjam Bedananda Singh, Director, ITCTC Education; Haobam Joyramba, Managing Director, CuubeTen Technologies; Kundrakpan Bobby Singh, COO (Skill Development), DDUGKY; and Dr Mayengbam Veto Singh, Joint Secretary, Government of Manipur were the panelists of the panel discussions.
The Summit concluded with a valedictory session celebrating collaboration and reaffirming shared commitment to integrated security.
