New relief camp set up at Khuman Lampak

Imphal, August 21 2024: A special relief camp to accommodate ailing displaced folks and youth who are preparing for examinations and job interviews has been set up at Khuman Lampak, today.

The relief camp was set up at the youth hostel at Khuman Lampak by the BJP State unit under the supervision of Chief Minister N Biren Singh.

Inaugurating the relief camp, BJP spokesperson MLA Kh Ibomcha said that any displaced family who comes for treatment at Imphal and has to spend a night here can stay at the relief camp by producing his/her Aadhaar card, I card issued by the Nodal Officer of the relief camp where he/she is an inmate and the CMHT card.

Those who don't have a CMHT card will be given the opportunity to make the card at the relief camp, he said.

The MLA said that similar facilities will also be given to students who come to Imphal for examinations or job interviews.
