Closing ceremony of "Thang Leiteng Haiba" held

Imphal, March 19 2023: The closing function of the 10 days workshop and production of "Thang Leiteng Haiba" was held yesterday at the hall of Pathou Thang-Ta Performing Arts Centre located at Keirao Bitra Makha Leikai, Litan Makhong under Imphal East district.

It may be noted that the workshop cum production was organised by Pathou Thang-Ta Performing Arts Centre.

Speaking in this connection, Puthem Mangi, Director, Pathou Thang-Ta Performing Arts Centre stated that 'Thang Leiteng Haiba' is an important aspect of Thang-Ta.

He said that the workshop was organised with the goal of educating Thang-Ta practitioners about this art form.

The Director also assured that more workshops based on Thang-Ta will be organised in the near future.

As a part of the closing ceremony, the students of Pathou Thang-Ta Performing Arts Centre presented productions of Thang-Leiteng, Thang Ani Yanaba, Thang-Ta Chainaba etc.

The function was attended by Mutum Romeshchandra, former Pradhan, Keirao GP and Kh Surchandra, Director, MITTACI.
