158 Bn CRPF observes 23rd raising day

Imphal, June 16 2026: The 23rd Raising Day of 158 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), was celebrated with enthusiasm and pride yesterday at the NSU Campus.

Dett-158 organised a cultural programme and Bada Khana to mark the occasion.

CRPF officers, subordinate officers, personnel, local villagers, and NSU staff took part.

The cultural evening featured folk songs and dances from various States, reflecting "Unity in Diversity", while CRPF personnel also presented captivating performances.

As part of the festivities, sports competitions were held over the past fifteen days.

Winners and individual performers were felicitated during the function for their sportsmanship, discipline, and dedication.

Recreational and interactive activities added to the festive spirit, fostering goodwill and camaraderie among participants.

The celebrations concluded with a community feast where all attendees dined together, underscoring brotherhood and teamwork.

The event highlighted the Battalion's traditions, discipline, sportsmanship, and community outreach initiatives.
