PPANL reprimands three youths for disrespecting Bir Tikendrajit's statue

Jiribam, September 13 2024: The Pari Puri Athouba Ningsing Lup (PPANL) has counselled and reprimanded three youths who reportedly sullied the sculpture of Bir Tikendrajit at Ningsingkhun Biodiversity Park in Jiribam.

The three non-local boys, namely, Abdul Rahim, Iftikhar Hussain and Ibadur Hussain, hailing from Ahmedabad and Kashimpur, climbed up the sculpture of Bir Tikendrajit and proceeded to click photos and videos.

In light of such unsavoury conduct towards the beloved patriot, Pari Puri Athouba Ningsing Lup members met with the three youths and their parents and guardians.

After counselling both the youths and their parents and reprimanding them for their distasteful conduct, the three boys admitted their mistake while also adding that they acted out of ignorance, said Pari Puri Athouba Ningsing Lup.

After clarifying about the matter, the three boys tendered an apology and assured that they will not repeat such mistakes again.

Expressing remorse, the three boys from Ahmedabad and Kashimpur also garlanded the sculptures of Paona Brajabashi, Bir Tikendrajit and Thangal General.
