'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign sweeps across State with patriotic zeal

In a vibrant display of patriotism and unity, "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign launched nationwide was celebrated across Manipur with fervour, featuring bike rallies, Tiranga marches and other cultural activities.
JIRIBAM
In a show of patriotic fervour, the District Administration Jiribam in coordination with District Police, 87 Bn CRPF, Assam Rifles on Tuesday organized a Tiranga Bike Rally as part of the ongoing nationwide "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign.
The event was flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner Jiribam, Krishna Kumar, from the Irawat Square, Babupara.
Around 90 bike riders from 87th Bn CRPF led by Sanjay Singh, Deputy Commandant and 30 bike riders from the District Administration led by DC Jiribam Krishna Kumar participated in the rally spreading the messages of patriotism and nationalism between the civilian and armed forces.
The Rally which commenced from Irawat Square was concluded at Dibong Khunou.
Superintendent of Police Jiribam Senmi Ramror, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jiribam Th Manoranjan Singh, DFO Jiribam E Nirmala Chanu, SDO Jiribam L Tarajeet Singh, ZEO Jiribam Th Amurashi Chanu, EO JMC M Surjit Singh and other District Level Officers (DLOs) and officials turned up to cheer on the enthusiastic bike riders and demonstrate their support for the initiative.
While flagging off the Rally the Deputy Commissioner Jiribam, Krishna Kumar highlighted that the district administration has been actively carrying out various activities across Jiribam District in connection with the ongoing nationwide "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign as part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations.
He also highlighted that such activities are carried out to create awareness to the general public on the pride and importance of Tricolour and also to create a feeling of patriotism in all the hearts of the people.
He also highlighted that the Tiranga campaign is a reminder for each and everyone to work together to take India on the path of progress and prosperity.
On the other hand, DC Jiribam also flagged off a Tiranga March for students from Irawat Square.
Around 100 students from Jiri College and Jiribam Higher Secondary School participated.
The march was organized by ZEO Jiribam under Th Amurashi Chanu and concluded at Dibong Khunou.
BISHNUPUR
The Har Ghar Tiranga (HGT) Campaign, 2025 is being implemented across all government, government-aided, and private schools in Bishnupur district.
As celebrated nationwide from August 2-15, 2025 in three phases, the campaign is also observed in the district with a vibrant array of activities.
As part of the celebrations, schools in the district have taken up multiple patriotic activities, including Tiranga-inspired wall and board decorations, Tiranga Rangoli competitions, Tiranga rallies with tricolour fabric displays, and active students and teachers participation in the Online Tiranga Quiz at MyGov.in.
District/zonal-level quiz competitions on the topic "History of Tiranga as part of Har Ghar Tiranga" Campaign is also organised at Oinam Government Higher Secondary School.
Students have also engaged in letter-writing activities inspired by the values and spirit of the National Flag, particularly expressing gratitude to soldiers and police personnel for their dedicated service to the nation.
In addition, students are enthusiastically taking selfies with the Tiranga and uploading them to the official Har Ghar Tiranga website, along with registering themselves as volunteers.
The celebrations will also feature flag hoisting ceremonies and the illumination of educational institutions and offices.
Beyond schools, other line departments in Bishnupur are actively contributing to the campaign.
Nambol Municipal Council has undertaken door-to-door visits, encouraging households to participate, while the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) has organised a Tiranga Rakhi-making competition for the inmates of Girl's World Open Shelter at Nganuleima Leirak.
PHERZAWL
As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga (HGT) Campaign, the Zonal Education Office Pherzawl, in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha, Manipur organised a series of activities at Pherzawl Government High School today.
The event began with a colourful HGT rally where students proudly paraded through the streets holding the tricolour and spreading the message of national pride and unity.
At the school premises, students actively participated in various competitions organised to mark the occasion.
Winners were announced immediately and prizes were presented on the spot.
In a parallel initiative, the District Administration of Pherzawl in association with the District Social Welfare Office and ZEO Pherzawl conducted various competitions at the same venue under the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan.
Competitions including painting, slogan writing and logo designing were conducted on the theme "Drug Free Youth Developed India".
The contests aimed at encouraging students to reflect on the harmful effects of substance abuse and express their vision of a drug-free future.
The programme also featured an awareness session on Prevention of Child Marriage.
KAKCHING
In Kakching, students of the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Avashiya Vidyalaya (NSCBAV) Residential Hostel, Langmeidong and Kakching Khunou High School held Tiranga Rally as part of the nationwide "Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign.
The rally was flagged off by ZEO Kakching, M Rakesh Singh, MES.
The rally was also attended by ZEO Kakching, DI Kh Binodini Devi, MES; AI Y Lokendro Singh, MES along with other officials.
