Imphal, July 12 2024: The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has come out with a clarification on the incorrect statements given by AICC National spokesperson Atul Londhe Patil during a talk show on ABP channel on July 8 .

Speaking to media persons at Congress Bhavan, BT Road here today, MPCC working president Kh Devabrata said that the MPCC protested to the party's higher authority against Atul Londhe Patil's incorrect and misleading statements.

Maintaining that Atul Londhe Patil should have first consulted the AICC and the MPCC before speaking on the Manipur crisis, the AICC too has condemned his statements, according to Devabrata.

MPCC welcomes the complaint filed with police for registration of an FIR against Atul Londhe Patil for his incorrect and misleading statements, he added.

Significantly State BJP general secretary P Premananda had lodged a police complaint against Atul Londhe Patil yesterday, July 11 .
