Imphal, March 05 2025: Calling for a comprehensive action plan for resettlement and rehabilitation of displaced persons, the Sangai Trust Foundation has submitted a memorandum to Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla through his Secretary today.

The memorandum, submitted by the foundation's Managing trustee Salam Prasanta, highlighted 5 points to address the crises facing Manipur.

It urged the Governor to establish a comprehensive action plan for permanent resettlement and rehabilitation of displaced persons affected by the crisis, with specific attention to address their livelihood and health-related challenges.

It urged the Governor to ensure strict monitoring and enforcement of the ground rules of the Suspension of Operation.

The memorandum urged the Government of India not to compromise Manipur's territorial integrity under any circumstances.

It further urged the Governor to bring all stakeholders to the table for dialogue towards resolving the crisis.
