Jiribam, November 30 2024: Under the aegis of Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM), Jiribam district, the 20 community facilitator of Jiribam and Borobekra block along with 2 Bank Sakhi and Block Resource Trainer, MIS in-charge held a "Gender Pledge" ceremony as part of "Awareness Campaign to Eliminate Gender based Violence 2024/Nayi Chetna 3.0" at MSRLM Jiribam office located at Kalinagar, Jiribam.

Wahengbam Premchand, Block Mission Manager Jiribam, Borobekra Block stated that the campaign was kicked off from November 25, which is also celebrated as 'International Day For the Elimination of Violence Against Women' and will continue for 16 days till December 10, celebrated as 'Human Rights Day'.

As part of the campaign against gender based/Nayi Chetna 2.0, members of CBO, CLF, VLF, SHG under MSRLM will hold events such as gender pledge, wall poster campaign, making rangoli, candle light walking, mass rally programs during the campaign.
